It's like a indoor church camp which is specially made for " independent children " from 6 years old to 12 years old...
Lucky... I have a good reason to attend just one part of this vacation bcoz i am already 13 ... Dat reason is to take care my bro... my sis... and my 2 cousins... Haha...
LOL... This is a photo i tok with my cousin, Charmaine when we're on the way to the OLD FOLKS HOME!!! For your information... we're in a bus which is specially prepared as a transpot ( obviously == ) to the DESTINY... ^^
I'm so lucky coz i can take part in one of de plans of this VBS thing... I'm sure u ppl know what and where am i going coz it's oledy written clearly in the title... (DUH...)
Yup... I am going to the OLD FOLKS HOME !!! Yeah! I am so happy coz i haven't been to an OLD FOLKS HOME before... ^^ It must be very interesting!! =D ( lol... trips are always interestng 1 mah... not meh? == )
Boy... I 'm sooooo excited that i cant barely even sit still in de bus and my frens stared at me with their faces "full of question marks ".... It means dat they thought i'm crazy...
This is just a pic i took just right after i reached de destiny.... Look! There is a signboard in de picture that has de name of that OLD FOLK'S HOME ! I think
it says " RUMAH CHARIS "... There is a special symbol too !! This OLD FOLKS HOME is quite big but actually it's actually a normal house with more rooms... =D And plenty stuffs...^^
When we arrived there... It's only around 10.00am only... So.. When we arrived there we first help to laid out de chairs for de church teachers and parents who came wif us in dis trip and de old folks and of coz... ourself to sit.... Then... The people in charge of de OLD FOLKS HOME welcomed us... It's a woman with a nice face and a gentle voice and i'm pretty sure she has a very big and kind heart which has plenty of love for those old folks... =D ( May god bless her always for her good deeds !! )
After that... We sang some church songs to the old folks there and they seem quite pleased and happy !! This can only means we've done a great job in cheering up those old folks! =] That's a good start!! hehehe.... After that , a sunday school ( "sunday school" is like a name for the classes those christian children always attend on sunday...=] ) teacher prayed for all those old folks there so GOD can always bear them good health and happiness and blessings... Isn't this sweet... Lol... O.o
After that... The sunday school children also presented a singing performance specially for the old folks there to show them their care... lolzz... My lil bro, lil sis, and my 2 cousins also take part in this performance and i took a picture of this singing thing...
They also do some actions which is easy to understand while they are singing...
Well... through their performance i can see they are still very nervous but they rily make the old folks smile! Haha... Dat's why i think they truely deserved de big applause that they received.... ^^ BRAVO kids!!!
After an wonderfull performance it's time for LUNCH!!! Unfortunately we only can drink some juice that is provided bcoz we're suppose to hav lunch after we go back..Haiz... But nvm lah... Lol...
But... We can't possibly let the old folks stay in hunger so an uncle bought lunch for the old folks... =P And guess what? We have even given a chance to feed a gradma (who is already 90+ years old) her lunch... ^^ She has barely a tooth left as all her teeth dropped... i think....
Well... We also shaked hands with those old grandma~s and grandpa~s... This is like a blessing too... We also say "may GOD bless you" to them too... =D
Then.... We do our own stuff like chattin wif frens and visit the inside of the OLD FOLKS HOME... My lil bro, Jaydon went in and he told me that he and his frens visit an old grandma who is 95 years old ... And he told me that somebody told him that the grandma had go through a tough life especially when she saw WORLD WAR 2 happened in her olden days... My bro also say that that grandma actually see with her own eyes dead bodies flying around everywhere when it's WORLD WAR 2... Dat's why now she is freaked out of almost everything she see bcoz she has a worst bloody memory of all...
Scary.. isn't it...? but i sure hope GOD will protect her and calm her down by telling her dat she is safe with GOD... ^^
Well... at 12.30pm, we helped to stacked up the chairs and then waved goodbye to the old folks there... We sure have a great time there... I rily learned a lot in dis trip...
I learned that there is a lot ppl who nids more care an love than us... We now
have everything but those ppl dun even have a small part of what we have so i
sincerly hope that GOD bless everybody in this earth and bless us...
LOl... What a big day.... So... The children continued their games and ate their lunch after we reached back to the church... I leh... Haiz... I have to go home coz as i said.. i can only take part in one of de plans in dis VBS camp...
But i rily Have fun... And lastly... Again...
